Ordering:

I accept orders by phone (8am to 10pm EST at (802) 473-2009)) or email ([email protected]), and will fill orders in the sequence in which they are received. Since items are almost always one of a kind, a coin ordered by one customer cannot be ordered by another.  Although I try my best to keep this website up to date, there is a chance that a listed item has already been ordered by another customer.

I accept payment by bank check, cashier's check, personal check (if the buyer is known to me), and Paypal.  Coins will be shipped once payment has cleared.  

Prices include shipping and handling.  I typically ship via USPS registered mail with insurance.  I charge extra if you want express or priority mail.  I am willing to discuss alternate arrangements as well, but that may involve additional charges, depending on the arrangement.

I have no retail facilities.  All coins are stored in a bank vault.

If you buy a coin from me, I want you to be happy with it.  I believe in my coins and my pricing structure, so I am willing to buy back a coin I sell you for the price you paid.  However, any coin returned to me must be in the same condition that they were shipped to you, and any returns must be mailed back to me, at your cost, and in the same manner that I mailed it to you, within 14 days of you receiving the coin.  To avoid any confusion, if I sell you a coin in a slab from a grading service, I will not buy back the coin if it has been removed from the slab.

About me:

I have been collecting early American colonial and federal coins for more than 25 years.  In the past five to ten years, I have become interested in West Indies and Spanish cut and countermarked coins, as well as foreign coins that circulated in the New World.  I am a member of the Colonial Coin Collector's Club (C4) and Early American Coppers (EAC), as well as the American Numismatic Association and the American Numismatic Society.

I like coins that tell a story and that have a history.  I like coins that people would have used in their everyday life.  But I also like quality, particularly surfaces and color, and I try to select coin that are problem-free and beautiful.  I primarily look for coins that when held in hand, give the owner that feeling of "Wow".
